Open Country bring a group of blind people to fly in a tandem hang glider at Airways

At the end of August we were lucky enough to be available to help out when Open Country visited Airways Airsports to get 4 blind people up in tandem hangglider flights.

The weather was very changeable which meant sneaking in flights between showers. It was a wonderful day and a great experience to meet such a brilliant and adventurous group of people.

As well as their flights with Judy Leden as pilot and Andy Snell as tug pilot, the group also toured the hangar and shop to find out more about paragliders, paramotors and microlights.
